About TRM Labs
TRM Labs develops AI-driven intelligence tools that empower public and private sector agencies to investigate and counteract criminal activities. Their platforms assist investigators in following illicit activities, compiling cases, and mapping threat networks, thus supporting global safety and security.
Role Overview
In your position as Senior All-Source Intelligence Analyst, you will lead TRM's regional targeting efforts within Southeast Asia. Collaborating closely with investigative teams, you will focus on dismantling crypto-enabled scam operations. Your responsibilities include integrating OSINT collection techniques, local operational knowledge, and financial intelligence to create comprehensive targeting reports on scam operators, financial facilitators, and cyber infrastructure facilitating widespread fraud in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end intelligence and OSINT operations targeting scam networks across Southeast Asia, transforming data into actionable intelligence for TRM and government enforcement partners.
- Geolocate and track scam operations using a combination of cell triangulation, IP geolocation, GEOINT, adtech insights, physical OSINT, on-chain attribution, and commercially sourced data, focusing on countries like Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand.
- Manage large volumes of investigative outputs, integrating victim, suspect, and infrastructure data into TRM's intelligence workflow and product development.
- Expand investigations from isolated leads to uncover larger operational networks, enhancing investigative reach and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with TRM’s SMEs and on-chain analysts to convert regional intelligence into targeting packages that aid governmental disruption actions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have US citizenship and be based in Bangkok or willing to undertake frequent travel across Asia-Pacific.
- Possess 5-8+ years of experience in all-source investigation or targeting, preferably within federal law enforcement, Intelligence Community, or equivalent private sector roles.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing targeting operations and coordinating small teams in analytic or investigative environments.
- Expertise in OSINT methodologies including cell triangulation, IP geolocation, GEOINT, adtech analysis, and cyber infrastructure attribution.
- Strong analytical skills in building operational intelligence products and network expansion from initial leads.
- Hands-on experience in Southeast Asia, especially Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, or Cambodia, with regional language skills considered a significant advantage.
- Proficiency with AI tools to enhance investigative processes and generate operational intelligence.
- Prior exposure to financial crime or cryptocurrency investigations is advantageous but not mandatory.
Team Environment and Culture
- The Primary Intelligence team is integral to TRM’s research and development, focusing on government and commercial intelligence product innovations.
- Close coordination with the scams expertise team and cooperation with US-based targeting units are essential.
- This role requires establishing and expanding TRM's operational presence and influence in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Regular schedule includes weekly team briefings, daily asynchronous updates, and flexible time zone collaboration across US Eastern and APAC regions.
- Documentation of all activities and outputs in digital collaboration platforms is mandatory.
- Availability for high-intensity periods during urgent operational interventions is expected.
Work Environment and Expectations

The workplace requires strong ownership, flexibility, teamwork, problem-solving capacity, and comfort with ambiguity and rapid change. Employees are expected to engage with iterative experimentation and embrace leadership principles prioritizing customer impact, craftsmanship, and collaborative spirit.
