Core Responsibilities

• Spot and develop AI-based opportunities that add measurable value to compliance processes for clients.
• Design, build, and deploy robust AI tools, particularly advanced NLP models for analyzing regulatory documents, enabling automation of intricate compliance activities.
• Translate compliance challenges into effective machine learning problem statements and create scalable AI architectures adaptable to various jurisdictions.
• Lead technical efforts by moving AI algorithms from proof-of-concept through to resilient, production-level solutions focused on scalability and reliability.
• Develop workflows for extensive data analysis, model training, validation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring, ensuring high standards of explainability and ethical AI use.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, compliance specialists, and engineering teams to integrate AI functionalities into the core platform, participate in architectural discussions, and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' professional experience working in production environments designing and architecting distributed AI systems.
• Expertise in Python programming and deep familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch for production-grade development.
• Strong understanding of machine learning software engineering practices, infrastructures, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art deep learning and large language models (LLMs) focusing on advanced NLP applications and handling data-intensive scenarios.
• Capability to optimize ML inference and manage batch and real-time ML pipelines using AWS technologies like SageMaker, ECS, EKS, Airflow, and related tools.
• Excellent communication skills facilitating effective teamwork among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
