Job description
Role Overview
Join our Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations team in Ireland as a Senior Advisor specializing in AI Security. In this role, you'll contribute significantly to safeguarding Dell's AI and identity/access management infrastructure by collaborating closely with internal teams, partners, and vendors. Your work will involve securing AI systems and guiding the adoption of innovative security strategies to ensure long-term resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and protect cloud platforms that support AI workloads throughout their lifecycle, ensuring stringent audit mechanisms.
- Develop and enforce security measures such as access controls across AI workflows, endpoints, and data repositories.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to architect secure AI solutions.
- Assist in AI system incident response by analyzing logs, API usages, and data access behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years’ experience in securing or administering enterprise public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
- Foundational hands-on experience or a strong eagerness to expand expertise in AI security.
- Proficiency with cloud security standards and identity and access management principles.
- Competence in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell and adeptness in interacting with REST APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude combined with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks, MLOps tools, or governance practices related to AI.
- Professional cloud or security certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, SC-300, or Google PCSE.
- Knowledge of cloud networking constructs including VPCs and Transit Gateways.
- Understanding of AI security and governance frameworks, including the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and OWASP guidelines for LLM and Agentic AI applications.
- Familiarity with application security methodologies encompassing secure CI/CD pipeline design, automated security scanning (SAST, DAST, SCA), and infrastructure-as-code security.
- Experience with AI governance tools like LiteLLM, Kong, and Guardrails used for managing LLM routing and API control.
- Insight into vulnerability management practices on cloud and container environments.
