Role Overview
As a Senior Admissions Counselor, you will work full-time in a remote capacity, guiding potential learners through the admissions process while helping them identify the most suitable Skillofy_AI offerings. Your primary tasks will include conducting discovery conversations, detailing program options and learning pathways, and evaluating prospective students' compatibility based on their professional objectives, skills, and interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects via phone calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries.
- Clarify program curricula, schedules, tuition fees, and financial assistance options.
- Maintain up-to-date applicant records within the CRM system.
- Manage and nurture an active admissions pipeline and conduct consistent follow-ups on leads.
- Collaborate with marketing and academic departments to enhance the admissions experience.
- Deliver transparent, learner-focused counsel that aids enrollment decisions and promotes long-term educational success.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities to connect effectively with diverse candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong customer service aptitude to provide empathetic and responsive support throughout admissions.
- Proficient sales abilities including consultative selling, lead engagement, and pipeline oversight to convert prospects into enrollees.
- Understanding of educational frameworks and the ability to articulate program structures clearly and accessibly.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, educational technology, higher education, or career advisory roles is advantageous.
- Self-management skills for thriving in a remote work setup while balancing multiple tasks and utilizing CRM and communication tools proficiently.
- Analytical and problem-solving strengths with an ethical, learner-first mindset focused on positive career outcomes.
- A Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines such as Education, Business, Psychology, Communications, or equivalent experiential background.
