Senior Accountant

About the Role

We seek a Senior Accountant who demonstrates proactive ownership, swift execution, clear and professional communication, and delivers superior quality work without requiring constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage compliance and client deliverables for a diverse portfolio of businesses.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS submissions, and lodgments.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Oversee workflow management and monitor job progression for tasks assigned.
• Support quality assurance activities including reviewing junior and offshore team members' work.

Success Criteria

• Consistently deliver work punctually and reliably.
• Produce clean, review-ready accounting files that meet firm standards.
• Respond promptly and professionally to communications.
• Ensure workflow progresses smoothly without requiring repetitive follow-up.
• Take full accountability for overall client outcomes rather than only individual tasks.

Compensation

The salary ranges from $95,000 to $100,000 annually, supplemented with performance-based bonuses depending on expertise, ownership, and experience level.
