Role Overview
We are seeking an engaged, client-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team in the Brisbane office. The role involves delivering high-quality accounting services and tax compliance, nurturing client connections, and advancing your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).
- Managing BAS, IAS, and ATO compliance responsibilities within your client portfolio.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior accountants in the team.
- Collaborating with clients to address queries and support tax planning efforts.
- Overseeing personal workflow and meeting deadlines within a structured team setting.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree concentrating in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- CA or CPA qualification or approaching completion.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a public practice environment, particularly in Business Services.
- Competency with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax regulations relevant to various entity types.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff is advantageous.

Salary Range
This position offers a salary between $89,600 and $115,000 per year inclusive of superannuation, commensurate with experience.
