Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will significantly influence business decisions, enhance financial transparency, and support operational excellence. Your key responsibility will be integrating newly acquired German and Swiss entities into the global finance framework. You will manage financial reporting, ensure compliance, and promote process improvements while collaborating with both local and international partners. This role requires close cooperation with senior finance leadership to advance IFRS reporting and compliance in a multinational setting.

Key Duties

• Oversee monthly financial reporting and closing procedures for German and Swiss units.
• Facilitate onboarding and integration of newly acquired firms into the group’s financial systems and processes.
• Handle general ledger entries, reconciliations, and both accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders to uphold compliance and fulfill statutory reporting mandates.
• Drive and implement improvements enhancing the efficiency of finance operations.

Success Criteria

• Possess professional accounting experience with solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Fluent in German and English, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively in international teams.
• Experienced in managing month-end close activities, reconciliations, and legal reporting requirements.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, curiosity, and a team-oriented problem-solving mindset.
• Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and excelling in a fast-evolving environment.

Compensation

The role offers an annual base salary between 60,000 and 70,000 Euros, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Salary offers will be aligned with candidates' skills and experience as assessed during the recruitment process.
