About the Role

The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate month-end closing and reporting across various entities and jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform essential month-end close tasks, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and intercompany reconciliations spanning multiple entities.
• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and digital asset wallets, handling substantial transaction volumes by utilizing AI tools to detect anomalies and streamline reviews.
• Manage crypto subledger reconciliations between NetSuite and digital asset platforms, ensuring precise rollforward schedule maintenance.
• Analyze entity-level financial statement fluctuations and produce detailed horizontal and vertical variance reports for subsidiaries.
• Assist in preparing US GAAP-compliant financial statements and related footnote disclosures across different jurisdictions.
• Maintain thorough, audit-ready documentation to support efficient external audits.
• Collaborate with Treasury teams to monitor daily liquidity in cash and digital assets, managing funding for bank accounts and wallets supporting accounts payable, payroll, and operations.
• Perform routine crypto-to-fiat conversions and transfers between banking partners and digital wallets.
• Enhance accounting controls and build AI-assisted workflows, integrating automation and process improvements into daily tasks.
• Address historical financial data issues and help improve global accounting operations' scalability, accuracy, and efficiency continuously.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 4 years progressing in accounting roles, with solid understanding of US GAAP and experience in complex accounting domains.
• Practical experience using NetSuite alongside handling high-volume reconciliations in a production accounting setting.
• Experience employing AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent in daily accounting tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI for accelerating close cycles, enhancing reconciliation accuracy, identifying anomalies, or substituting manual reviews.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities, with an aptitude for working autonomously in dynamic environments.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
• Excellent adaptability and rapid learning of new systems, accounting standards, technologies, and workflows.
• Preferred experience includes supporting external audits, familiarity with crypto subledger tools, and digital asset accounting systems.
• Advantageous skills include developing lightweight automations or AI-driven workflows, e.g., Python scripts, n8n workflows, or prompt chains.
• Essential to have strong ownership mentality, meticulous attention to detail, and willingness to engage hands-on amid fast-changing contexts.
