About the Role
An established accountancy firm based in West Cork is inviting an experienced accountant to join their team, offering a distinctive route towards partnership in the near future. This role suits a qualified professional who seeks long-term career advancement and leadership duties within practice management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your personal portfolio composed of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individual clients.
- Deliver taxation, financial, and business advice across a diverse group of clients.
- Operate independently, maintaining full accountability for client relationships.
- Assign tasks to junior team members and support their training and professional growth.
- Collaborate with partners and team members on overall practice management and expansion strategies.
- Guide clients in selecting and utilizing accounting and financial software platforms.
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA), with tax qualification being a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable experience post-qualification within small to medium-sized accounting firms.
- Proven capability in independently managing a complete client portfolio.
- Comfort with working in a rural practice location.
- Robust knowledge of tax regulations and advisory expertise.
- Self-motivated with an aptitude for initiating and contributing to practice development.
Career Progression
The successful applicant will initially join as an employee, with the potential for promotion to Partner after a comparatively brief tenure.
