Junior EHS Officer

Role Overview

ProSource Group is seeking a Junior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer to join a reputable building contractor based in Ennis, County Clare. This position offers a great chance for individuals in the early stages of their career to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment while supporting health and safety administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize Health & Safety documentation and records efficiently.
• Assist construction site teams with their health, safety, and environmental administration duties.
• Maintain and update training records, employee inductions, and certification databases.
• Prepare, distribute, and file health and safety related documents properly.
• Support the reporting and investigation of workplace incidents.
• Participate in audits and site inspections as needed.
• Offer general administrative assistance to the health & safety team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Health & Safety qualification at Level 7 or higher.
• Prior administrative experience, preferably within the construction or a related sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and communication capabilities.
• Capability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively in a team setting.
• Strong motivation to learn and advance within the construction industry.
