Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle including data entry, account reconciliation, and bank statement matching.
• Conduct monthly and annual financial closures within set deadlines.
• Post intercompany transactions accurately.
• Enter manual journal entries such as accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, and other necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and manage fiscal declarations.
• Analyze balance sheets focusing on accounts, fluctuations, and consistency.
• Identify operational discrepancies and apply corrective measures.
• Evaluate risks and determine root causes for variances.
• Independently oversee a portfolio of complex, multi-entity client accounts.
• Coordinate effectively among several stakeholders.
• Manage competing priorities, due dates, and workload efficiently.
• Engage in projects to optimize and automate accounting processes.
• Understand client needs, anticipate their requests, and foster trustful relationships.
• Share best practices with the team.

Required Profile

• Technical Skills:
  • At least 5 years of experience in general accounting including closures, balance sheet expertise, and intercompany accounting.
  • Strong command of the complete accounting cycle and period-end entries.
  • Proficient in tax declaration processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
