Senior Accountant

Job Overview

Mawahib Talent Hub is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to enhance our finance team based in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting functions with a focus on accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable activities including customer collections and reconciliations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, manage cash flow position, and oversee daily banking transactions.
• Maintain fixed assets register and handle capitalization processes along with calculating depreciation schedules.
• Provide support in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and established accounting standards.
• Collaborate with various internal departments and external auditors as needed.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Professional accounting certifications are considered a valuable asset.
• Thorough understanding of accounts receivable, banking operations, and fixed assets accounting.
• Experience in Qatar market accounting for a period of 5 to 7 years.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to speak Arabic fluently.
