Job description
Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key financial operations including preparation and examination of various financial statements and ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with balance sheets and income statements.
- Oversee general ledger activities, reconcile bank statements, and resolve any discrepancies in accounts.
- Manage and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards and facilitate documentation during external audits.
- Assist in budgeting process by conducting variance analysis and monitoring financial performance relative to targets.
