Senior Accountant

Company Overview and Position Details

Swayamvar, located in Moosapet, Hyderabad, is seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to autonomously manage all accounting functions within their Finance & Accounts department.

The role involves handling comprehensive accounting responsibilities with minimal oversight, ideally by candidates who understand retail accounting and inventory-integrated financial management.

Working Conditions and Compensation

• Monthly salary up to ₹90,000.
• Work schedule: 6 days per week from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Additional payment will be provided for Sunday overtime when required.

Primary Duties

• Oversee complete accounting cycles, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and journal entries.
• Manage payables and receivables, vendor payments, and reconcile accounts accurately.
• Compile and close monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory filings are completed.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow records meticulously.
• Communicate and coordinate with external auditors and Chartered Accountants during audits and compliance submissions.
• Generate financial summaries and reports to assist management decision-making.
• Detect and analyze discrepancies and variations in financial data to maintain record accuracy.
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere strictly to accounting regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience in managing full-cycle accounting independently.
• Proficient user of Tally or similar accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting practices.
• Comprehensive understanding of GST, TDS, and related statutory compliance.
• Ability and confidence to operate accounting processes with minimal guidance.
• Preference for candidates with retail sector accounting experience.

Additional Desirable Experience

• Experience overseeing accounts across multiple retail outlets.
• Familiarity with inventory-related accounting and stock reconciliation processes.
• Background in managing accounting operations within expanding retail businesses.
