Senior Account Manager

About the Role

The Ghostkitchens India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to oversee the daily accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance requirements, audits, and finance operations across the organization.

Key Duties

• Oversee comprehensive accounting activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, invoicing, and month-end closing processes.
• Ensure adherence to statutory obligations including GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax, and other regulatory compliances within required deadlines.
• Lead internal and statutory audits along with tax audits, coordinating closely with external auditors.
• Compile and evaluate monthly management information systems reports, financial statements, and other management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting books and enforce strong financial controls throughout the business operations.
• Manage vendor payments, collections, ledger management, and bank reconciliations effectively.
• Handle accounting tasks related to multiple brands, legal entities, and diverse business transactions.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and senior leadership teams on finance-related strategies and issues.
• Identify weaknesses in current processes and introduce improved financial controls, systems, and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Mandatory Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Six to ten years’ experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within the food & beverage, quick service restaurant, retail sectors, or fast-expanding startups.
• Comprehensive understanding of Indian accounting principles, tax laws, and statutory regulations.
• Detail-focused and proactive approach while working in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
• Strong competency in Excel and accounting software along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

Location Options: Ahmedabad and/or Surat, Gujarat, India with options for remote work.

Salary Range: INR 30000 to INR 55000 per month.
