Security Solution Architect - APJC Customer Security

Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is recruiting a Secure AI Solution Architect to join the APJC Customer Security team, focusing on developing and standardizing security patterns for AI applications in the region. This role involves transforming established security frameworks into executable, reusable code and documented solutions that can be deployed seamlessly across diverse customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop deployable reference implementations from validated Secure AI concepts, such as agentic AI identity protocols, AI security frameworks, lifecycle controls, and governance assurance mechanisms.
• Validate these solutions against actual customer needs and integrate improvements to ensure broad applicability and reliability.
• Create detailed codebases, architectural references, and comprehensive documentation that enable Solutions Architects and partners to implement the solutions independently.
• Collaborate actively with AWS product teams (including Bedrock, AgentCore, and SageMaker) to integrate field feedback into product development and release timely guidance to the field.
• Stay informed on the latest AWS AI and security offerings, updating and developing reference models to incorporate new capabilities.
• Identify and relay customer concerns and feature requests to inform product roadmaps and enhancements.

Working Day Example

Typical daily activities include building enhancements to AI agent identity implementations, engaging with product teams to clarify capabilities, hands-on development of AI lifecycle controls into documented patterns, and briefing marketing and architectural teams for regional dissemination.

Team Context

The APJC Customer Security team enables secure and compliant AI adoption across the region by addressing security, regulation, and risk. The role supports two main initiatives: making AWS the foremost platform for secure AI development, and applying AI techniques for security defense. Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience in software development or related consulting roles.
• At least 4 years of focused expertise in areas such as software engineering, cloud computing, infrastructure, systems security, networking, or data analytics.
• A minimum of 2 years designing, implementing, or consulting on application and infrastructure solutions.
• Preferred experience includes working in software or internet industries, managing cloud migration or legacy system transformation, and familiarity with AWS technologies from a development or operational perspective.
