Job description
Role Overview
This position involves executing penetration tests on various platforms including web applications, mobile apps, and microsites. The incumbent will prepare detailed reports based on the testing outcomes and coordinate follow-up actions as necessary. Additional security evaluations may be conducted if vulnerabilities are detected and require further scrutiny.
Responsibilities
- Perform penetration testing across web, mobile, and microsite platforms and document the findings comprehensively.
- Coordinate and verify subsequent remediation actions based on the penetration test results.
- Ensure penetration testing on designated security targets is completed and reports are delivered to clients within the specified timelines.
- Recommend corrective actions to mitigate identified security weaknesses effectively.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in performing web penetration tests.
- Solid understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic about IT security, new technologies, and networking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification(s) relevant to penetration testing.
- At least 1 year of programming experience involving coding and algorithm development.
- Interest and expertise in managing cybersecurity solutions at the enterprise level.
- Experienced with both Windows and Linux server environments.
- Excellent technical acumen with a problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in teams with a proactive, motivated, and results-driven approach.
- Effective communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
- Background in networking, system administration, and infrastructure design.
