Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Oversee the safety and security of guests and colleagues within assigned areas, including parking facilities.
- Conduct regular patrols solely within designated zones to monitor for risks.
- Identify and report potential fire hazards, unsafe work conditions, and risky behaviors promptly.
- Respond effectively according to all established Emergency Response Plans.
- Maintain courteous and professional interactions with guests to uphold positive public relations.
- Arrive at duty stations a minimum of 15 minutes ahead of shift commencement.
- Participate fully in all daily pre-shift briefings and post-shift debriefings.
- Be familiar with the names and positions of all security personnel on duty during each shift.
- Ensure follow-up on required actions to comply with schedules and maintain work standards.
- Remain vigilant for any abnormal incidents and take immediate corrective measures.
- Protect hotel property, staff, and patrons with utmost diligence during assigned shifts.
- Complete comprehensive reports detailing all incidents, accidents, and shift summaries accurately by the end of each shift.
- Manage all related paperwork and documentation as necessary.
- Report to the Security Director or Assistant Director at the start and end of each duty period.
- Adhere strictly to specific job descriptions when assigned specialized duties or functions.
- Maintain confidentiality of all departmental information; unauthorized disclosure is subject to disciplinary measures including dismissal.
- Use sound judgment to de-escalate situations promptly while remaining polite, diplomatic, and professional; firmly enforce hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Mandatory Osha Certification.
- Proficient communication skills in English.
