Role Overview
The position of Security Officer (m/w/d) is a full-time, permanent role based in Berlin starting on January 1st, 2026. The role involves maintaining the safety of both guests and staff within the hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Consistently monitor and safeguard the security of hotel guests and colleagues.
- Regularly check access controls for guests, suppliers, external companies, and contractors.
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for any security-related concerns.
- Respond calmly, thoughtfully, and professionally during security incidents.
- Ensure hazard prevention and guest protection during large events to guarantee smooth proceedings.
- Work within a rotating three-shift system, performing 8-hour shifts regularly.
Candidate Profile
- Preferred qualifications include a 34a certificate with GewO competence or certification as an IHK-certified specialist for protection and security, or comparable credentials.
- Discretion, strong commitment, empathy, and a clean criminal record are essential.
- Enjoyment in interacting with people, teamwork skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Basic PC skills along with prior experience in security services and hospitality are advantageous.
- Competent in German and English languages.
