Role Overview
Join the H4 Hotel Leipzig as a Demi Chef de Rang and contribute to a dynamic team emphasizing excellent service, team spirit, and hospitality. This position is available for full-time or part-time employment under a permanent contract, commencing 01.01.2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned service section independently including preparation (mise-en-place), guest attention, and closing duties.
- Provide active, personalized advice regarding food and beverage selections, intuitively understanding guests' preferences.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality and hygiene standards, maintaining attention to all details.
- Collaborate closely with the Chef de Rang, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with minor leadership duties such as training new team members and aiding in the ordering process.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in hospitality or gastronomy.
- Some practical experience in service roles, for instance as a Commis de Rang.
- Professional and friendly demeanor with a strong hospitality mindset.
- Ability to work well within a team, take initiative, and maintain high quality standards.
- Good command of German; English skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
