Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join 14Forty on a full-time basis, working 42 hours per week. This role is essential for maintaining the safety and security of our premises, customers, and staff, ensuring a safe environment while delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as a motivated team member with excellent communication skills.
- Oversee and control access to buildings and surrounding areas.
- Implement efficient and effective security operations to safeguard the premises.
- Assist the public with general inquiries in a helpful and courteous manner.
- Represent 14Forty professionally, upholding a positive image of the brand.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid SIA license or be eligible to obtain one.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and easily form positive relationships.
- Demonstrate determination, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Have a background in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance.
- Take initiative and contribute effectively both independently and within teams.
- Have keen attention to detail.
- Be knowledgeable about relevant health & safety regulations, criminal laws, and operational procedures.
Work Schedule
The typical shift pattern is 4 days on followed by 4 days off.
