About the Role

Join Mitie's dedicated Security Guard team working on a notable project with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), contributing actively to enhancing safety and community well-being across the UK.

Main Responsibilities

• Immediately identify and report any health and safety risks or hazards present on site.
• Maintain vigilance for any threats or environmental changes, responding proactively to minimize disruption, damage, or loss.
• Exercise sound judgment and initiative, escalating situations that may turn hazardous by involving relevant personnel promptly.
• Conduct oneself professionally, managing difficult scenarios and challenging individuals calmly and effectively.
• Document incidents thoroughly and promptly in a detailed notebook to support incident reporting procedures.
• Adhere strictly to work schedules and show a strong commitment to Mitie and its client.
• Notify the emergency services and Mitie's Communication Centre about any incidents immediately.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working in security roles is essential.
• Applicants must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
