Role Overview

The Security Officer's primary responsibility is to safeguard the hotel's premises and all occupants by conducting patrols, monitoring security footage, controlling access, and responding promptly to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out security inspections on all individuals and vehicles entering or leaving the premises.
• Oversee CCTV monitoring systems and act upon any suspicious behaviors or events observed.
• Regularly patrol the property to maintain guest safety and security.
• React swiftly and professionally to emergencies and other incidents.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents and report suspicious activities to appropriate authorities.
• Manage access control by verifying identification and issuing entry passes to authorized staff.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and regulatory standards throughout the property.
• Participate in fire safety and security training sessions as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completion of the Basic Security Course (BSC) is mandatory.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good physical condition, capable of long periods of standing, patrolling, and emergency response.
• Effective working ability independently as well as part of a team.
• Calm demeanor with the ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations.
