Job Summary

We are currently looking for a disciplined and vigilant Security Guard with a retired military or strong military background to safeguard people, property, and assets at the Micasso Tiles Plaza located in Spintex. The candidate must exhibit professionalism, sound judgment, and strict compliance with security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all access and exit points within the facility.
• Perform regular patrols of the premises, including the showroom and external areas.
• Maintain a prominent security presence to discourage theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
• Operate CCTV systems effectively and immediately report suspicious behaviors.
• Verify visitor and vendor permissions following company protocols.
• Oversee vehicle movements and direct parking within the plaza.
• Respond swiftly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency events.
• Provide initial response in situations involving fire, accidents, or safety incidents.
• Preserve scenes for subsequent investigations and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist customers entering the plaza as necessary.
• Guarantee the safety of staff and customers during operational hours.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules, and security guidelines consistently.
• Keep precise daily records, incident reports, and handover notes.
• Report any security violations, hazards, or suspicious activities to management.
• Support investigations and compliance efforts when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in security or protective services is mandatory.
• Minimum basic education equivalent to SHS/WASSCE; military training is a plus.
• Demonstrates strong discipline, integrity, and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Physically fit with good stamina.
• Excellent observation and reporting abilities.
• Capable of professional interactions with both customers and staff.
• Familiarity with security tools such as CCTV, radios, and scanners.
• High commitment to duty and confidentiality.
