Role Overview

We are recruiting a Cyber Security Architect to join our information security team. This pivotal position contributes directly to our security program’s success, collaborating extensively with security, infrastructure, network, development, and business stakeholders. We seek a self-driven individual adept at prioritizing complex challenges and communicating effectively across technical and non-technical audiences to foster innovative and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead as a security thought leader supporting designated business lines within Tradeweb.
• Advocate and steer the adoption of strategic security architecture aligned with product roadmaps.
• Promote secure design principles and architecture patterns throughout development processes.
• Guide cyber risk decisions and cultivate a robust technology and cyber risk management culture company-wide.
• Conduct comprehensive end-to-end security architecture evaluations.
• Prioritize and oversee remediation of vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and architectures.
• Assist teams in formulating and deploying effective remediation strategies for security issues in code and systems.
• Create security blueprints and security assertion templates to standardize secure practices.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of business operations to align security efforts effectively.
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with technology, risk, and compliance teams.
• Engage with external regulators, audit teams, and clients to clarify security risks and controls.
• Support and enable cross-regional business activities and operational security needs.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years in information security roles with 5+ years focused on security architecture or partner responsibilities.
• Proven experience across diverse cybersecurity domains and a strong grasp of security architecture frameworks and controls.
• Expertise in threat modeling methodologies and secure code review practices.
• Demonstrated success in supporting teams across different regions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical details clearly to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with key regulatory standards such as GDPR and RegSCI.
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO standards and financial services or fintech sector experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications from recognized vendors (e.g., ISA, SANS, CompTIA, eLearnSecurity) are advantageous.
