Job Summary

We seek a seasoned Security Architect with 10 to 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security architecture. This role involves creating, evolving, and deploying secure IT architectures and cyber defense systems, ensuring compliance with business demands, security protocols, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust enterprise security architectures, frameworks, and related solutions.
• Establish security architecture principles, standards, policies, and recommended practices.
• Evaluate current IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud setups to detect security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Create security frameworks across cloud, network, application, data, and infrastructure environments.
• Perform security risk assessments and suggest remediation controls and strategies.
• Validate and approve security designs for new systems, applications, integrations, and technologies.
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure, software development, cloud, and business teams ensuring security integration throughout technology lifecycles.
• Assess and propose cybersecurity products, technologies, and solutions.
• Ensure all security implementations adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Develop security models and benchmark architectures for enterprise environments.
• Assist in security incident investigations, offering architectural guidance to prevent future incidents.
• Engage in vulnerability management, threat modeling, penetration test analyses, and comprehensive security evaluations.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to cybersecurity and IT teams.
• Monitor new cybersecurity threats, developments, and industry trends to recommend enhancements.
• Prepare detailed security architecture documentation, including technical reports and schematics for management review.
• Support cybersecurity transformation efforts and strategic security projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related discipline.
• Between 10 and 15 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security architecture roles.
• Expertise in designing enterprise-level security architectures and comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
• Deep understanding of network security, application security, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Proficient in security technologies including Firewalls, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)/Extended Detection and Response (XDR), IAM, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience securing cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong skills in risk evaluation, threat modeling, and security controls implementation.
• Prior collaboration with enterprise architecture and technology teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and judgement capabilities.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in technical documentation.
• Fluent in English language, spoken and written.
