About the Role

We are representing Huawei, a global leader in information and communication technology, seeking talented and driven professionals to join as a Search and Recommendation Algorithm Expert. This role focuses on advancing search services within Huawei's App Store environment, including applications and various other services.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in research and development activities to enhance search functionalities for Huawei’s App Store.
• Lead the full lifecycle development of recall and ranking algorithms, including their integration into the system.
• Develop and execute A/B testing frameworks and performance evaluations to compare different search and recommendation models.
• Innovate by applying the latest AI technologies in areas such as information retrieval, ranking, large language models (LLM), and recommendation systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably hold a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum three years of experience in team leadership within search engine projects is advantageous.
• Firm grasp of data structures, algorithms, machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLM), and big data analytics.
• Proficient with programming languages including Python, Java, and Scala, together with strong practical knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience in research or projects related to search engines, advertising technology, or AI-generated content (AIGC) is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills to diagnose complex business data issues rapidly and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication abilities, a commitment to responsibility, and effective collaboration skills.
