Opportunity Overview
This permanent full-time role, with part-time options considered, is based at the Puckapunyal Defence Base in the Seymour region of Victoria. It presents excellent prospects for career growth while gaining meaningful experience supporting Defence personnel through high-quality tailoring and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic tailoring tasks such as hemming, ironing, alterations, and medal mounting aligned with Defence standards
- Measure and fit customers for apparel
- Manage clothing store inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Receive, verify, and process store items under supervision
- Assist customers with issuance of equipment
- Prepare and maintain warehouse and store documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Must be an Australian citizen
- Possess basic to intermediate sewing skills
- Demonstrate strong customer service orientation
- Experience in measuring and fitting garments
- Previous work experience in retail or clothing store environments
- Ability to organize workload effectively and meet production deadlines
- Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office applications for documentation tasks
