Position Overview

PNC is seeking a Scrum Master to join its Lending Technology organization, based in Charlotte, NC, or Dallas, TX. This role may be eligible for remote work in approved locations, requiring a dedicated home workspace. Occasional office presence may be necessary. PNC does not offer sponsorship for employment visas or STEM OPT for this position.

Job Description

The Scrum Master will support and guide one to two Scrum Teams, promoting Agile values and practices while ensuring adherence to Agile principles. This role involves coaching teams on Scrum framework execution, organizing and facilitating ceremonies, identifying opportunities for improvement in velocity and quality, and mitigating risks. The Scrum Master will track and communicate team progress to stakeholders, acting as a liaison to remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus on priorities. A key part of the role is partnering with the Product Owner to ensure backlog items are prioritized by business value and are ready for the team.

Preferred skills encompass Agile Methodology, Customer Solutions, Information Management, Organizational Analysis, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Program Administration, Scrum, and Software Testing.

Work Experience and Education

This position typically requires a university or college degree with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
