About the company

Nairon AI is an AI startup focused on building Hive, a platform of AI employees designed to carry out end-to-end work inside the software tools companies already rely on. The team is a second-time founding group with prior experience building a sales-tech startup that went through Techstars, raised capital from Silicon Valley investors, operated for three years, and was eventually sold. Their product is used directly in live businesses, so every feature is validated against real operational challenges from the outset.

Role overview

The company is looking for a Founding Engineer to work closely with the founding team across the full product and technical stack. This is a broad role rather than a narrow specialist position. The work includes building Hive features, deploying real agents, designing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and strengthening reliability so the system performs well in real business environments.

The role is best suited to someone who is comfortable with uncertainty, can ask insightful questions, and is able to convert ideas into working code quickly while using AI tools effectively.

What you'll work on

  • Develop key parts of Hive together with the founding team.
  • Deploy AI-first workflows, internal tools, and agent-based systems inside actual companies.
  • Work in person from the Dubai office with the founders.
  • Turn business problems into clear, practical implementation plans.
  • Rely on coding agents to move faster and improve output quality.
  • Coordinate multiple AI agents when a problem needs parallel work.
  • Shift smoothly between detailed implementation and high-level system thinking.
  • Ask precise questions after thinking through the problem with your own tools and agents.

What the team is looking for

The emphasis is on how you think, what you have built, and the quality of your judgment while working with AI tools, not just on your resume.

You should bring strong engineering fundamentals, be comfortable working across different parts of the stack, and already use coding agents in a serious way. The team wants to understand how you prompt, plan, review, and implement with agents, and how you stay fast without sacrificing care or production reliability.

You should also be able to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders, thrive in a fast-moving startup setting, and be willing to work in person every day in Dubai.

AI-native expectations

The company expects at least 6 months of substantial hands-on experience using coding agents. Candidates should be able to walk through their full AI workflow, including the orchestrator, coding agents, models, tools, libraries, skills, prompting methods, review process, and any custom setup that helps them work faster or produce stronger results.

They are especially interested in how you align with an agent before writing code, how you identify and correct weak outputs, how you test your work, and how you reach functioning code that remains stable.

Compensation

The compensation package includes a monthly salary of AED 13,000 to AED 20,000 and an equity grant in the range of 0.5% to 1%.
