About Nord Anglia International School Al Khor
Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) is a thriving and expanding international educational institution located in Al Khor, Qatar, 35 minutes north of Doha. The school educates over 1350 students aged 3 to 18 years, with strong programs for secondary education including a bespoke curriculum blending Physical Education from national and Qatar Ministry of Education standards. Role Summary
The School Nurse will provide comprehensive healthcare services within the school, addressing students' physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs. This role involves collaboration with teachers, parents, and external healthcare providers to ensure that students receive appropriate medical support for full participation in school life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver health services aligned with student needs within the school environment.
- Collaborate effectively with educational staff, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate student care.
- Maintain accurate health records and health-related documentation.
- Support students managing chronic medical conditions.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic school setting.
- Provide clear, effective communication with students, staff, and parents.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Nursing.
- Valid Nursing License from the candidate's home country.
- Must hold a current Qatar Council for Health Practitioners (QCHP) license.
- Preferred minimum of 3 years' experience working as a school nurse.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) and Arabic is required.
- Preference for candidates under husband/family sponsorship for visa purposes.
