Scanline Floater

Job Summary

MAC.BID specializes in purchasing large quantities of customer return and overstock products, which are then offered individually to consumers through online auctions. The Scanline Floater plays a crucial role in preparing and staging these products for scanning, as well as clearing scanned items and organizing them appropriately. This position reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine incoming products for visible defects.
• Classify items into categories such as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Perform basic electronic tests to evaluate product condition.
• Transport products to the conveyor belt for scanning.
• Promptly clear products from the scanning area after they are processed.
• Organize and shelve products in designated bays following auction and lot numbering systems.
• Contribute to the team's achievement of quantity and quality targets.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and disposing of trash in empty bays and mobile scan areas.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by management.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Comfortable with technology and tech tools.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Able to interpret written instructions and comply with company policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
