SAP TM Technical Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Technical Consultant for a multinational company, based in Pune, India. The role demands 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM technical development and overall 8-10+ years in SAP technical domains. The consultant will be tasked with leading the technical architecture, development, and integrations related to SAP Transportation Management within S/4HANA or a standalone TM environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP TM technical solutions.
• Supervise development teams to ensure coding standards are followed.
• Implement complex enhancements and optimize system performance.
• Manage integration interfaces and support end-to-end development processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented programming, BOPF framework, CDS views, AMDP, and data modeling in S/4HANA.
• Expertise in SAP TM architecture, including technical frameworks and enhancement points.
• Experience with ALE/IDoc and CPI/PI integration technologies.
• Strong skills in Fiori/UI5, OData services, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and RESTful API development.
• Understanding of TM planning logic, charge management framework, PPF, and BOPF nodes related to execution.
• Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP initiatives, Cloud ALM platform, and Git-enabled CTS.
• Aptitude for leading technical workstreams and managing project deliverables.

Preferred

• SAP ABAP or SAP TM Technical certification.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Event Mesh, and API Management.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain business processes.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
