Responsibilities

• Design and take ownership of the technical SAP solution architecture for hybrid environments combining SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Develop and support customer-specific extensions adhering to the Clean Core principle, both in-app and side-by-side on SAP BTP.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical concepts and collaborate closely with business units and development teams during implementation.
• Actively participate in development using ABAP Cloud, ABAP Object-Oriented programming, RAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori/UI5, and OData.
• Design integrations between S/4HANA, BTP, and third-party systems through REST, OData, IDoc, BAPI, and where required, SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
• Evaluate technical options and determine which solutions should be implemented in S/4HANA versus SAP BTP.
• Provide support on architecture, development, and governance matters related to extensibility, deployment, security, and upgrade capability.

Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in Applied Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in SAP development and/or as an SAP Solution Architect.
• Strong expertise in ABAP, RAP, Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP.
• In-depth knowledge of designing S/4HANA extensions and hybrid architectural models.
• Confident and pragmatic understanding of integration architectures and interface concepts.
• Structured and analytical approach to work, with the ability to communicate clearly and reliably with business units, service providers, and stakeholders.
• Fluent communication skills in German and English (C1 level) both spoken and written.
