Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM) consultant to lead production support and enhancement activities. The position involves working across Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai locations, with rotational shifts from 2 PM to 11 PM. Candidates must have extensive experience in supporting profitability management, allocations, financial planning, reconciliation, and reporting within large enterprise SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production support and continuous improvement initiatives for SAP PAPM systems.
- Oversee profitability management processes including allocations, planning, and reconciliations.
- Investigate recurring incidents to determine root causes and implement solutions to reduce operational disruptions.
- Collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders to align support and enhancement priorities.
- Manage enhancement demand and coordinate prioritization efforts.
- Work in conjunction with multiple teams including SAP, CPI, BW, SAC, infrastructure, and third-party providers to resolve integration and data issues.
- Enhance operational governance frameworks and mature support capabilities.
- Coach junior consultants and offshore support personnel to build team competence.
- Engage in incident management, problem resolution, and release governance processes.
- Drive operational stabilization and implement long-term improvements to processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive SAP functional consulting experience, specifically in AMS/AES or managed services support.
- In-depth knowledge of allocations, profitability analysis, financial planning, reconciliation, reporting, and finance operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and effectively handling business escalations.
- Capability to independently conduct workshops and lead discussions.
- Strong operational support focus and experience in large enterprise SAP environments.
