SAP MM Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with over 9 years of specialized expertise in SAP Source to Pay (S2P) processes, preferably with hands-on experience in S/4 HANA implementations. The position is based across multiple locations including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Coimbatore, under a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead support initiatives to prepare Manufacturing Execution (ME) plants for deployment of S4 systems.
• Assess and analyze current SAP R/3 processes across various plants, particularly focusing on areas such as S2P Packaging and Order to Cash (O2C) Packaging, identifying critical deviations and gaps requiring development or process standardization.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert driving the design and management of process templates for SAP project implementations.
• Record and track gap analyses and related documentation using JIRA software.
• Collaborate closely with plant experts to review existing processes, determine necessary custom implementations, especially in the packaging domain encompassing S2P and O2C processes.
• Take ownership of developing expertise in S2P business process templates within SAP MM R/3 and S/4 HANA environments.
• Gather and document comprehensive business requirements directly from users.
• Critically analyze business workflows and recommend process improvements.
• Identify gaps in comparison to current process templates and coordinate design, build, and implementation efforts between teams.
• Define rollout scopes for individual plants, guiding adoption and deployment of template processes and customized requirements.
• Work alongside plants and design/build teams to finalize data migration needs, overseeing sample and mass data uploads.
• Adapt and localize template test cases according to plant-specific contexts and support their execution during testing cycles.
• Create and manage defect logs, following up through resolution phases.
• Execute planned cutover activities, adhering to schedules and providing necessary input.
• Provide hypercare support by training key users, preparing training data, demos, and developing supporting documentation for knowledge repositories.
• Produce user manuals, training materials, and process documentation compliant with company quality standards.
