Job Description
This position is for an experienced SAP MM Consultant based in Gurugram, with a full-time employment type. The ideal candidate must have seven or more years of professional experience working with SAP Materials Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP MM business processes in alignment with organizational requirements.
- Understand and analyze business requirements to design viable functional solutions.
- Handle procurement, inventory control, and material management activities effectively.
- Conduct system configuration, run tests, and deliver user training sessions.
- Collaborate closely with various business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Manage and resolve production support issues, as well as enhancement requests.
- Draft functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams on necessary developments.
- Engage in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and ongoing support projects.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficiency in SAP Materials Management (MM).
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Experience managing inventory and vendor/material master data.
- Familiarity with Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), and Invoice Verification (IV) processes.
- Ability to configure release strategies and pricing procedures.
- Competence in batch management, stock transfer, and physical inventory procedures.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM and integration with modules like SD, FI, PP, and WM/EWM.
- Experience with LSMW and other data migration tools.
- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager and ticketing systems.
