Role Overview
Join our HR & Travel Expenses team as a Payroll Consultant responsible for delivering ongoing support for SAP payroll across various countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Cape Verde, Turkey, and the Dominican Republic. As part of a global leader in integrated tourism, you will help drive ambitious growth plans through your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent high-quality support for SAP payroll processes following agreed Service Level Agreements and budget constraints within a team of internal and external resources.
- Contribute to implementing process improvements, especially concerning payroll developments, data migration, integration, and development work coordination.
- Manage relationships with nearshore and offshore development and service providers, overseeing planning, execution, and quality assurance.
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of biannual legal change packages in HCM by applying SAP Notes and adhering to new legal requirements.
- Maintain proactive and prompt communication with end users to quickly resolve issues and concerns.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience with SAP HCM processes and customization for German HR modules, including Personnel Administration, Payroll, Time Management, Organizational Management, and Self-service Portal.
- Technical familiarity with S4HANA, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration, and ABAP/4 programming.
- Deep understanding of payroll customization components such as wage types, features, payroll schemes, and functions, coupled with prior SAP HR consulting experience.
- Strong grasp of Human Resources business workflows, enabling you to support change management procedures like SAP HCM Hana Migration and onboarding new users.
- Fluency in English and German languages is essential; additional language skills are beneficial.
- Comfortable working within diverse international teams and potentially participating in payroll implementation projects for other countries.
Employee Benefits and Work Environment
- Competitive salary with discretionary bonus schemes and generous travel benefits.
- Comprehensive health and well-being programs.
- Flexible work settings promoting work as an activity rather than a place, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
- Access to learning and development opportunities through the company’s learning platform.
- Opportunities to expand your professional network by collaborating on global projects in an intercultural environment.
- Participation in local community charity and sustainability initiatives such as the TUI Care Foundation.
