SAP EWM Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) consultant to design, configure, and implement warehouse and logistics solutions tailored to business needs. The role involves supporting various warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, inventory management, and integrating SAP EWM with related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze warehouse and logistics business requirements thoroughly to ensure solution alignment.
• Design and configure SAP EWM settings to enable smooth warehouse operations.
• Implement and maintain warehouse structures including storage types, sections, and bins.
• Manage and support critical processes like goods receipt, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cross-docking, replenishment, physical inventory, wave management, and yard management.
• Ensure seamless SAP EWM integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, and Transportation Management modules.
• Provide effective troubleshooting for production issues and offer timely resolutions.
• Support various testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Develop detailed functional specifications for enhancing system capabilities, including enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver custom developments and integrated solutions.
• Conduct user training sessions and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA EWM migration and transformation initiatives.
