About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services offers a great opportunity for experienced professionals to join as SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developers. This role involves working at the TCS Candor Techspace office located in New Town, Kolkata, requiring in-person attendance. The hiring process includes a face-to-face interview scheduled for 5th September 2026 (Saturday).
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and create applications leveraging SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using Node.js or Java, including Core Data Services (CDS) and Fiori elements, focusing on API creation and OData service development with accurate domain modeling.
- Design and enhance user interfaces with SAPUI5/Fiori frameworks and SAP Build Apps; manage configurations for Launchpad and Work Zone platforms following established Fiori design standards.
- Develop integrations utilizing SAP Integration Suite tools such as Cloud Integration, API Management, and Open Connectors, implementing connectivity via REST, OData, event-driven mechanisms, RFC, or IDoc protocols as required.
- Ensure security compliance by applying best practices including managing destinations, XSUAA authentication, role and authorization configurations, Principal Propagation, and establishing secure connections through SAP Cloud Connector.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, conduct training sessions for end-users, and deliver techno-functional support to stakeholders.
