Role Overview

PepsiCo Foods Canada invites interested candidates to participate in a job fair for the Sanitation Technician role, to be held on September 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 9798 Highway 1, Greenwich, NS B4P 2R2. This event is an opportunity to meet the team, explore the position, and potentially begin a career with PepsiCo Foods Canada. Key Responsibilities

  • Executing general cleaning duties according to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
  • Overseeing and maintaining sufficient sanitation supply inventories.
  • Sanitizing processing and packaging zones.
  • Handling all matters related to the master sanitation program.
  • Addressing sanitation issues following Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
  • Ensuring facility compliance with AIB and FL sanitation regulations.
  • Assisting with PEM & WOW sampling protocols as needed.
  • Performing standard janitorial tasks on-site when required.
  • Strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment continually.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Required certification in chemical use.
  • Capability to obtain forklift and/or Genie equipment certification.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn new skills quickly, and proactive in the workplace.
  • Open to feedback, adaptable, and able to work well under stress.
  • Technical or mechanical experience will be viewed favorably.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates responsibility, maturity, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Competent in understanding and following the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
