Job Overview
Join Remington Hospitality as a Sanitation Aide based in Costa Mesa, CA. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area by properly handling dishwashing, trash disposal, and cleaning duties to support kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dish machines according to established procedures, ensuring all glasses and dishes are washed using the standard dish rack.
- Clean pots and pans exclusively in the designated pot washing area.
- Keep the kitchen tidy by performing necessary cleaning tasks, including sweeping up broken glass or dishware and mopping spills promptly.
- Manage trash disposal by emptying full cans, then spraying and sanitizing them before placing new liners.
- Adhere strictly to all Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) protocols and general safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned, such as supporting plating for banquet events when needed.
