Sanitation Aide

Job Overview

The Sanitation Aide will play a crucial role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene through diligent dishwashing and sanitation practices. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to support smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine following established guidelines, washing glasses and dishes using the standard dish rack system.
• Clean pots and pans exclusively within the designated pot washer area.
• Ensure continuous cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping broken glass or dishware and promptly mopping any spills to keep the environment neat and safe.
• Empty and handle heavy trash receptacles, spraying and sanitizing them after each use; replace trash liners appropriately.
• Comply strictly with Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) procedures and overall Safety guidelines.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned, including help with plating for banquet events when required.
