Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Salesperson position is located at the Forty Winks store in Chirnside Park, Victoria. The role entails greeting customers, understanding their individual sleep needs, and offering customized advice on sleep products. Responsibilities include showcasing merchandise, clearly communicating product advantages, preparing personalized quotes, completing sales transactions, and keeping accurate point-of-sale data.

• Engage customers warmly to understand and address their sleep requirements.
• Demonstrate and articulate product features and benefits effectively.
• Generate quotations and handle sales processing with accuracy.
• Ensure the showroom remains tidy, inviting, and well-organized.
• Regularly update product displays and contribute to promotional efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and foster a friendly, respectful customer environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven abilities in customer service and retail sales, skilled at rapport building and guiding purchasing choices.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills to explain product information clearly.
• Fundamental computer and POS system proficiency to manage transactions and customer records accurately.
• Capability to thrive in a busy retail environment, including standing for prolonged durations and handling merchandise safely.
• Dependable, well-organized, and a team player eager to learn and improve.
• Experience in furniture, bedding or related retail is a plus; enthusiasm for sleep health knowledge is advantageous.
• Flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays aligned with store schedules.
