Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Software Specialist Engineer (SRE) to join our Lending and Protect tribe. This key position focuses on maintaining the dependability of our Salesforce environments, emphasizing release pipeline management. You will collaborate closely with fellow SRE engineers to continuously elevate our platform using innovative best practices. This role is integral to ASB's transition toward cloud technologies centered on Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside squad members to advance platform reliability and performance.
- Design, implement, support, and maintain the release pipelines for Salesforce environments.
- Continuously enhance automation tools, provisioning, monitoring, and logging systems.
- Respond promptly to incidents and perform diagnostic activities as necessary.
- Share knowledge to build collective understanding within the team about the environment.
- Contribute to enhancing the nCino solution built on the Salesforce platform, involving both declarative and imperative programming.
Qualifications and Skills
- Solid experience as an SRE specialized in the Salesforce platform.
- Proven development capabilities on the Salesforce platform.
- Adaptability to new technologies with a positive, flexible mindset.
- Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps (repo, release, pipeline, artifact), Git, and TFS.
- Experience with application development and proficiency in languages such as C#, Java, TypeScript, Python, and PowerShell.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning along with a dedication to continuous quality improvement.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience working with event-driven and integration platforms like Kafka and MQ.
- Salesforce or nCino certification is advantageous.
