Sales Specialist

Job Overview

This opportunity entails managing the sales process comprehensively—from initial prospecting to delivering proposals—ensuring a robust and consistent pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in marketing SaaS, risk, and data-oriented solutions tailored for banking and financial sectors including banks, NBFCs, fintech companies, digital lenders, marketplaces, telecom providers, and insurance firms. Experience working with clients based in India is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
• Gain deep understanding of client requirements concerning onboarding processes, offers, KYC and underwriting, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Align client needs with Experian's decisioning product suite.
• Lead consultative discussions with C-level executives and teams in product, risk, and compliance functions.
• Collaborate closely with product and presales teams to coordinate demonstrations and create proposals.
• Establish and maintain engagement channels with prospects to facilitate cross-selling and upselling.

Candidate Profile

Looking for a professional who is thoughtful, advisory in approach, and confident in engaging senior management. The role proportionally involves 70% nurturing existing accounts (farming) and 30% acquiring new ones (hunting).

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7 years' experience selling SaaS, risk, and data solutions to sectors including banks, NBFCs, fintech, digital lenders, marketplaces, telecom, and insurance.
• Demonstrated experience selling solutions related to fraud prevention, KYC, and identity resolution.
• Must hold at least a graduate or postgraduate degree.
