Sales Promoter

Overview

Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co Ltd is seeking motivated and personable Sales Promoters on a temporary contract basis for the festive season. The role is based at an electronics showroom in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, lasting 2 months during October and November 2026.

Role Summary

In this position, you will engage with showroom visitors by explaining the features and advantages of Godrej home appliances. Your goal is to understand customer needs and guide them to suitable product choices, contributing to seasonal sales efforts.

Primary Duties

• Welcome and assist customers entering the showroom.
• Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and specifications.
• Assess customer requirements to recommend appropriate Godrej appliances.
• Actively promote products supporting sales initiatives during the festival period.
• Conduct product demonstrations and address customer inquiries.
• Perform follow-ups with customers as necessary.
• Keep product displays organized and the assigned area attractive.
• Collaborate with the showroom team to meet sales targets.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Strong communication abilities and customer interaction skills.
• Confident, professional, and well-presented demeanor.
• Interest in sales and consumer electronics/appliances.
• Prior experience in retail or showroom sales or product promotion preferred.
• Freshers with effective communication skills are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to work actively in a showroom environment during the festive period.

• Employment type: Temporary/Contract for 2 months (October and November 2026).
• Location: Electronic showroom in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
• Monthly salary: ₹12,000.
