Sales Planning Analyst

Overview

Join our team as a Sales Planning Operations Analyst responsible for managing daily planning activities that include quotas, territories, hierarchy configurations, and handling routine business requests according to predefined service level agreements (SLAs) and documented procedures. This role is highly hands-on, focusing on delivering precise and punctual planning execution across a variety of business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer quota distribution, implement adjustments during the year, and issue target letters adhering to company policies.
• Manage territory assignments, module modifications, and align accounts with corresponding sales personnel.
• Maintain organizational hierarchy, position IDs, roll-ups, and overlays, ensuring resolution of planning tickets within agreed SLAs.
• Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes for sellers across the relevant platforms and systems.
• Enforce maker–checker controls and document any deviations or exceptions in the operational runbook.
• Generate reports covering attainment, coverage statistics, and key performance indicators related to planning.
• Integrate new automation tools for planning as they become available and escalate exceptions to appropriate expert teams.
• Contribute to the standardization and documentation of planning processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Between 3 to 6 years of experience in sales operations, planning, or data operations (note: Senior Analyst roles require over 6 years).
• Proficient skills in advanced Excel functionalities.
• Experience working with quota, territory, and hierarchical planning tools and operations.
• Ability to manage ticket-driven operations with an emphasis on accuracy, dependability, teamwork, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
