Overview
The Sales Manager role involves identifying sales opportunities, devising sales strategies, and creating comprehensive solution proposals. The incumbent evaluates critical success factors and obstacles for potential deals to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and advocate the company's unique value proposition to potential clients.
- Contribute to defining and executing the business strategy for the assigned unit.
- Lead initiatives and strategies to meet targeted revenue goals.
- Identify, assess, and establish partnerships with key vendors to support business growth and the business model.
- Formulate and apply business strategies for each core activity to boost market visibility and share.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and principal partners.
- Develop existing accounts and identify or create new business opportunities to fulfill set targets.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitoring the performance of core activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in a related field.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in sales and business portfolio development.
- Experience working with government sector clients is preferred.
- Capable of problem-solving in a sales context, including qualifying leads and closing deals.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent customer relations, and people management skills.
- Understand the competitive landscape to grow revenue and develop tactical strategies and programs.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage data, information, and communications effectively.
- Proficient in negotiating agreements and building consensus across organizational levels.
- Well-informed on current market trends and best industry practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
