Sales Engineer (EMEA)

Overview

Keeper Security is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to bolster its EMEA B2B sales operations. Candidates must be permanent residents of Ireland or the UK. The role offers hybrid work arrangements for those near our Cork, Ireland office or full remote opportunities for others residing within Ireland or the UK.

Role Summary

The Sales Engineer will partner with the sales team through both pre-sales and post-sales technical support. Responsibilities include identifying technical specifications for sales opportunities, aligning solutions to client needs, demonstrating product differentiators, facilitating product trials, assisting with implementation, and offering level-2 tech support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical support activities through the sales process for Keeper products.
• Collaborate closely with sales to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Deliver product demos and technical presentations remotely, onsite at customers or Keeper facilities.
• Coordinate with product and engineering teams to stay current on product changes and enhancements.
• Address technical queries and objections to maintain customer confidence.
• Provide expert technical guidance to help clients understand how Keeper solutions meet their business challenges.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies relevant to the field.
• Resolve complex technical challenges efficiently, sometimes under pressure.
• Engage technical stakeholders to identify sales opportunities and promote Keeper offerings.
• Update Salesforce with accurate sales and issue data and report findings to management.
• Conduct technical trainings for channel partners and customers.
• Contribute as a member of the sales team toward achieving or surpassing revenue goals.
• Support company objectives through innovative and effective methods.
• Travel as necessary for customer meetings, both locally and nationally; operate or rent vehicles as required.
• Proficiency in German and English for partner communication is advantageous.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years in a pre-sales technical role such as Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Solutions Engineer.
• Strong communication skills paired with interpersonal acumen and entrepreneurial drive.
• Experience with Windows and Active Directory administration; familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
• Exceptional ability to deliver presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
• Technical expertise in networking, security applications, and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Skills

• Possession of industry-recognized certifications.
• Experience with scripting and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of identity providers such as Azure and Okta.
• Experience tailoring solutions and understanding needs of enterprise customers.
• Background in cybersecurity, identity and access management (IAM), or related SaaS security solutions.
